Frequently asked questions.

What is Amplifier Effect?

Amplifier Effect is a community-driven event series designed to bring people together on their journey of growth. Our events connect those who have knowledge to share with those eager to learn, fostering both personal and professional development in a supportive, engaging space. We organize events on topics related to personal and professional growth, helping attendees expand their skills, confidence, and networks. See more in our About page.

Are these events only for women?

No—some events are open to everyone, while others are designed specifically for women. Our women-only events create a dedicated space for open discussions and shared experiences. However, we also host gender-inclusive sessions that center women’s perspectives while welcoming all attendees. Each event listing will indicate whether it’s women-only or open to all.

How do I know what events are being planned?

Subscribe to our newsletter to stay updated on upcoming events, new topics, and community announcements.

What are Waitlist events?

Some events are Waitlist only, meaning they will be scheduled once there’s enough interest. It’s free to join the waitlist on the event page, and once enough people sign up, we’ll schedule the event and notify everyone on the list. If you’re interested in a topic, make sure to join the waitlist so we can bring it to life!

How do I attend an event?

Check out our Events page to see upcoming events and RSVP via Lu.ma. Each event has a limited number of spots, so we recommend signing up early.

How can I suggest an event topic, speaker, or venue?

We love hearing your ideas! You can submit event topics, speaker recommendations, or venue suggestions through our Nomination page. Since Amplifier Effect is a crowdsourced initiative, events can only happen when we secure a speaker and venue. If we end up inviting the speaker or use the venue you recommended, you will receive a free ticket to an event of your choice. Note that the free ticket incentive applies only for venue & speaker Nominations, not for ideas.

Can I get involved as a speaker or collaborator?

Yes! If you have expertise in a topic and want to share your knowledge, we’d love to hear from you. Reach out via our Nominations page, and we’ll explore how we can collaborate.
